GOLF LEAGUES AT GLENOAKS COUNTRY CLUB

Ladies First!
GlenOaks offers two separate leagues for the lady golfers. Both leagues play each week and both are comprised of a great group of ladies.
The first league is the 18 Hole Ladies League. The 18 hole group plays Wednesday’s and Saturday’s during the regular season. Each week there is a set game to be played and a points system which is carried through the season. The 18 Hole league starts in April with their Opening Day Scramble.
Next we have our 9 Hole Ladies League. This league of ladies plays on Thursday’s each week during the season. A laid back and stress free environment creates a fun couple of hours of golf for all ladies with a light lunch following play. The ladies 9 hole Opening Day is also in April.
Men’s Senior League
This league plays every Thursday morning and most Saturday mornings. Games are constructed by the revolving captain each week. If you are a senior and looking for a great group of guys to join, then this is the league for you.
Saturday Morning Men’s Golf League
Are you what we call a “Weekend Warrior?” Whether you are new to the club or have been a member for a couple of years, you are invited to join this group! It’s pretty simple, if you are looking for a game every Saturday or once a month, simply contact the golf shop to get on the list. A staff member will send out an email each week looking to see who will be playing Saturday morning. All you have to do is respond to the email to let us know you are in. Tee times typically start around 8:30am to 9:00am. Pairings and times are sent out the day before mid-to-late afternoon. The golf shop will set the game for the morning and will typically get out and join the guys a couple of times a month.
Men’s Dog Fight
Last but certainly not least – the Men’s Dog Fight!
Probably our most popular and most fun event of the week. The league kicks off in April and takes place every Wednesday with a 5:45pm shotgun start. Dog Fighter’s consist of members of all ages, playing ability good and bad, and camaraderie that exceeds all!
Sign ups are required for each week. Simply contact a staff member of the golf shop no later than 4:00pm that day to get signed up. Emails are also accepted.
